Well the 20th January came round quicker than I thought it would.  It was 5am the morning of my operation.  I had slept on the sofa with my youngest as he didn't seem to want to sleep in his bed (must have known something was going on!)

Well,...I had my pre op today.  I really didn't think I was going to get there as the A38 was shut for 8hrs last night at Exeter because of the snow.  I got up at 4am and checked the weather and road conditions.  They didn't look great but the road was open so I decided to go for it!  Well 4.5 hours later I managed to get there....

Well it's 2 weeks today till my tummy tuck and inner thigh lipo.  I have my pre op at 09.00 next Wednesday.  Little bit worried about the weather as I have to drive 200 miles up the road to the Spire Parkway in Solihull and will need to leave hear around 04.30 to get there in time and with all this snow and ice!!!  hhmmmmm   Just need to wait and see how it's looking.

I got my letter from the Spire Parkway Hospital yesterday confirming my TT op for the 20th January 2010.  It also had confirmation of my pre op, which is booked for 9am on the 13th January 2010.  This means that I will need to leave that morning at 5am to get there on time, but I suppose the up side would be that I am back down for around 2 instead of 8 at night like I was with the consultation.
