Yesterday I was unwell with sore eyes and feeling low. I phoned the surgeon centre and advised to travel there. My PS saw me early evening and decided to remove stitches, steri strips and gave advice re massage of swelling and bruising and prescribed antibioic eye drops. It was a relief to get the stitches out and ley my face and eyes 'escape' I did have a feeling of being trapped inside this false swollen face sitting on top of my own.

Well the deed is done! I can't quite believe that its over and my healing journey has now begun. The lead up to surgery was scary but exciting - although I was so worried, I was also certain that I so needed to have the surgery in order to feel better about myself and to raise my self esteem. I was also confident in the surgeon I had chosen - but worry still seeps in.

My sad face looks younger, happier and more importantly natural, not plastic. My scars are healing nicely and I can not recommend the Laderma clinic in Prague more!. It was scarey and daunting, I was terrified I might look awful and false, but I'm so happy with the results.. amazing surgeon, amazing staff and fabulous care. :-) I feel amazing..!!

No going back!

My countdown has begun and time is ticking away. I have my surgery just a few days away now for upper and lower blephs and lower facelift. I have confidence in my surgeons ability but I am still experiencing great anxiety in the lead up to the day. It has been difficult the past 2 weeks when questions and doubts have been playing on my mind as my PS has been away on holiday and I must save my questions for the morning of the surgery- I have a list....

Well, 11 days post op and I feel great. My bruising has almost completely gone and the swelling too!! I look very natural and my scars as so tiny I can barely see them myself. :-)
Its a major decision to have a face lift, you shouldn't do it lightly, so do some research before hand. Make sure you trust your surgeon and research them first. I would definately recommend Laderma in Prague. Dr Cerna and her team have been amazing!!!

Im 6 days post op at Laderma clinic in beautiful Prague.. having just had facelift with smass. Dr Cerna was my plastic surgeon.

Im still a bit swollen and uncomfortable at present, but can already go out without being
too obvious as long as my hair is down. Hardly any bruising to my face at all, a little under my chin but easily hidden.

I did start my blog the other day but I must of done something wrong!

I had my implants done on Tuesday and I was little worried with how swollen they became so I had a look at other posts on here and what they experienced. I had Invisalign treatment at the Q clinic. The price they are advertising is very deceptive! They demanded payment up front and then retainers, whitening and adjustments were extra. In the end it cost more than some other clinics with more experience are offering! and it turns out they will only move the front teeth and do not look at the teeth as a whole. (i guess it is cheaper for them!)

I thought I had done quite a bit of research before booking my surgery on 16th December. Since discovering this site, and a couple of other forums like it, I now realise how little I actually knew (gulp!).

Whenever I have handed my hard earned cash over to builders, mechanics, electricians etc, I never felt the need to have them explain the technical ins and outs of their particular crafts - yeah whatever... how much, how long will it take and when can you start?
