Well, 11 days post op and I feel great. My bruising has almost completely gone and the swelling too!! I look very natural and my scars as so tiny I can barely see them myself. :-)
Its a major decision to have a face lift, you shouldn't do it lightly, so do some research before hand. Make sure you trust your surgeon and research them first.
I would definately recommend Laderma in Prague. Dr Cerna and her team have been amazing!!!

Hi
Im 6 days post op at Laderma clinic in beautiful Prague.. having just had facelift with smass. Dr Cerna was my plastic surgeon.
Im still a bit swollen and uncomfortable at present, but can already go out without being
too obvious as long as my hair is down. Hardly any bruising to my face at all, a little under my chin but easily hidden.
I priced this op in UK, at a clinic in Chester.. they wanted £7500 and they had a woman who looked like she should have appeared in 'spitting image' (if you remember that far back) to try and sell it to me? My god No!!! :-) They did not want to name the surgeon, or where the op would take place... very vague... I ran as fast as I could......!!!
Here in Prague it costs 2500 Euro's at present, what a difference.
So far Im very pleased. Very professonal, yet personal service. Dedicated staff... Very clean clinic.. Great after car. Staff and your Plastic Surgeon available to contact by mobile phone 24/7.... (not ring me on Friday and i'll see if i can fit you in) This would never happen in the UK. :-) amazing...
I'll keep you posted.. x

At first I have to tell you all, that I am Dutch and even though I can speak English easy, the writing part will be difficult for me. So please excuse me ( in front) for the bad English writing. I still hope you will understand it anyway :)

Hi
I did start my blog the other day but I must of done something wrong!
I had my implants done on Tuesday and I was little worried with how swollen they became so I had a look at other posts on here and what they experienced. It put my mind at ease, reading that what I was experiencing was pretty normal, so I thought it might be a good idea to start a blog on my recovery etc.
I had my appointment at about 10am on Tuesday and it was pretty straight forward. I purposely didn't watch any video footage on how it is done as I thought that may put me off. I was given several injections to knumb the area and all I experienced was a tugging sensation. It only took about 20 minutes to complete the procedure and I must admit that my lips were swollen but one side of my bottom lip was bigger than the other, but I was assured that this was normal, and to expect for my lips to swell up some more. I had already started my anit-biotics the day before and was told to take ibrupophen for the pain and was presecribed some eye oinkment that I was to put on the wounds to help stop infection. By the time I got home my lips were huge and I looked hideous, lol. They were as big as Pete Burns but my philtrum was so swollen that it looked how Lesley Ash's looks. At this point I did get a bit worried but luckily I was able to read posts by Rich Tea and other people on this forum who also described themselves as looking like Pete Burns and Lesley Ash! My lips did get worse before they got better and you will probably be really shocked by some of the photos that I took. My face from under my nose, down to my chin was severely bruised and my skin did start to peel on my lips, even though I smothered them in vaseline to keep them moistered. I have had to eat using a teaspoon and I have struggled to drink without dribbling down myself and I also found brushing my teeth a bit of a nightmare. The swelling has really gone down but my lips feel really tight and my philtrum is still swollen and I am praying that this goes down completely. I go back to the clinic on Tuesday for a check up and I'm sure that the swelling will have gone down some more.
I will update my photos as I recover
Thanks
Lisa

I had Invisalign treatment at the Q clinic. The price they are advertising is very deceptive! They demanded payment up front and then retainers, whitening and adjustments were extra. In the end it cost more than some other clinics with more experience are offering! and it turns out they will only move the front teeth and do not look at the teeth as a whole. (i guess it is cheaper for them!)
I know Q clinic have started a lot of cases because of the cheap offer, but there are other dentists who have been doing it for a lot longer and have plenty of before and after photos and testimonials to prove their results.
Q clinc could not show me any before and after photos or testimonials which is a big worry!
My advice is be very careful and shop around. Ddo not let the cost influence your decision. You only get one chance to have it done well. Do not cut corners when it comes to cosmetic work. Steve
