Any london surgeons who will do what you ask??! (Pics Includlooking good! In terms of tip drop I can only give you my personal experince in that it will drop but mine did not drop to what it was before. I will PM you the link to my pics and you can see
The tip dropping varies...it should only be very minor...give it time, everyone is different and you can not really give a definite answer to individual cases...dont worry

Aw thankyou. Roughly how many millimeters do you think it will drop by though?? And does it like take week and drop once the tip swelling goes?? Or more like years n years, and just drops as part of the basic aging process?? He used a cartilage graft specially (cost me the extra £1000) cos she said that doing that would give the support to lift teh tip as much as i want and keep it up, but he did say it would drop abit over time though.
But he didnt give any more specifics. ![]()

Does anyone know to roghly what extent the tip wil droop though in millimetres?? :(
Cos i really just cant be happy and enjoy how it looks now, as every few minutes my mind keeps thinkling anf eeling sad and scared about how it wont last for long, and that in a few weeks or months it will droop down and be downturned again, not upturned and teh same as it is now. :(
hii doubt it will drop much it looks greqat allready
it should only get better with the swelling erasing. your nose is to me a hundred times better leave it and injoy it . relax .
Congratulations though I prefer your old nose more as it was more masculine and suited your ethnicity more , regarding the tip I got similar nose to what you have now after my primary op. and it did dropped about 3 mm till 3 months po. but again everyone is different this only gives you an idea about the millimeters it might drop , don't worry it won't make a noticeable change though.
Spanish89- wow you got a big change!
What did your surgeon say he did? If you saw no change after your first op., you cant assume that this one will be similar and revert back as it is already a major difference. Just enjoy it now while you like it. If it does drop a little (which it probably wont) you dont want to regret not enjoying this time now while your happy with it. Live in the moment!
I have split this thread.
Spanish I hope you haven't been offended by anybody's opinions . I think it's just that you have evoked a really interesting discussion, but I don't want it to derail your thread anymore than we did already therefore I have created a separate thread for what was being discussed. But please do continue updating us in this thread. Stick around and let us know your healing is going ![]()
man thats a great early result, even allowing for swelling. You were taking a big chance given your obsession. He certainly reduced it significantly. You need to try to forget about what ifs and ridiculous questions which nobody could answer in the first place.Good luck in the rest of your life and I hope you never consider another surgery.
Spanish, I think you have a very beautiful face. Your nose looks perfect to me and so does the rest of your face and if the tip drops slightly in the future, you will still be beautiful,. My best wishes go to you.

Aloha and thanks for all the very nice kind posts everyone.. :0
Its made me feel alot more confident and smiley, especially when i went out clubbing on saturday for the 1st time in about 6months, all because i now liked how i lookked and feel almost goodlooking i guess, and not ugly anymore. :) Im feeling quite (well very) sad and disappointed yesterday and today though, and the swelling on the top of the tip + lower end of teh bridge wher eit forms the tip, has become very very swollen and fat from inside! :( And so as a result has made the nose look quite abit less up-turned, and nearly down-turned and down curved again though, as the weight and size of the internal swelling is weighing down the tip and making it look like that. :( I do know from my 1st op that this is hopefully just temporary and only due to the swelling. which will go away in about 4-6months. And so im not getting too deeply sad and upset about it yet. But i do feel abit sad and disapointed though, as the 2nd day after the cast came off was the day it looked really reall nice and amazing, and so i just so soo much wished it could have stayed like that. :(
Sorry for always talking about myself though, i feel abit selfish. :/ Hos everyone else doing and feeling??
